PharmaBraille Marburg Medium fonts
Each country has its own braille code. There are some commonalities, but there are some important differences.Therefore, PharmaBraille Braille fonts are supplied in country specific formats.
We currently supply PharmaBraille in the following Braille formats: UK, North America (Can-Am Braille), European Blind Union Braille for Medicinal Products, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Chech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine and Romania. Each font set follows the Marburg Medium size and spacing specifications and conforms with Europe (ECMA EuroBraille) and USA/Canada (Can-Am Braille) standards for Pharmaceutical Braille.
Each font set contains a collection of three fonts. PharmaBraille Regular, PharmaBraille Grid and PharmaBraille Letter—all you need to apply Braille to pharmaceutical packaging. The fonts are OpenType PS format—suitable for PC and Mac.

This is the font for embossing on pharmaceutical packs.

The dots font can be useful, as an addition to PharmaBraille fonts, for creating the more obscure Braille characters not included in the recognised pharmaceutical Braille standard. For example the symbol mu (µ) for micro as in micrograms is not recommended for pharmaceutical braille—the abbreviation mcg should be used. However, some client companies will insist that µ is used.
